Capacity Need Assessment and Capacity Development Plan for WASH Cell of Ministry of Climate Change

Momentum team conducted “Capacity Need Assessment and Prepared a Capacity Development Plan 2020-2030” for Ministry of Climate Change. The capacity need assessment was done w-r-t the mandate of the ministry.
The capacity need assessment exercise included aspects; institutional capacity assessment in terms of structure of the WASH cell of the MoCC, human resource skill and competencies related capacity as well as finance and resources capacity. Based on the capacity need assessment a detailed capacity development plan 2020-2030 was proposed. The aim to the plan was to enable MoCC to deliver asper its mandate so that WASH related SDG goals and targets can be achieved.

Formation of AJK Education Policy 2021-2030

Our experts have developed AJ&K Education Policy 2021-30 with the Elementary and Secondary Education. Detailed consultations with the AJ&K E&SE Departments related to curriculum, education quality, student assessment, school management and teachers’ performance, ECE, primary and secondary education, school management and leadership, were conducted, to prepare a detailed situational analysis of education sector of the AJ&K. Based on the detailed situational analysis, a comprehensive need assessment report was prepared. Keeping in view the situation and need Educational Policy 2021-30 was prepared. The policy was taken for further consultations at divisional and district level. Where education experts from various faculties of education and representatives from civil society and administrative departments of the government of AJ&K were consulted. Finally, the policy was presented into cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister of AJ&K and its approval from the cabinet was obtained.
It is worthwhile to note that there has been a compete diagnostic analysis of every education sub-sector before preparation of the policy. Therefore, our team conducted a thorough analysis and need assessment for ECE sector as well during the course.

Development of National food fortification act and rules for Ministry of Planning and Development Pakistan through Nutrition International-Canada. After a detailed desk review and consultations with core stakeholders such as Ministry of National Food Security, Ministry of National Health Services & Regulations (MoNHS&R) and Planning Department (MoPD), SUN Business complex, WFP and other relevant stake holders from GAIN and Ehsas Programme developed national food fortification act and rules of business.

Research study carried out for “Youth Economic Empowerment Project (YEEP)” in Muzaffargarh, Layyah & Rajanpur, to collect information from unemployed youth, their teachers & parents, for developing a viable micro finance product to support micro entrepreneurship activity in these districts of Southern Punjab.
